Law and Order ?
Good morning Team, Let's talk about Law and Order today. But before that Did any one ever think one part of it under government control and other part independent. Like here police are controlled by the government and courts are independent. According to me the reason behind is that our time of independence we have Baba Saheb like advocates who do things without money as a service of humanity. In our Odisha we have that kind of person but unfortunately at the time of independence he was dead. He is none other than Our Kulabrudha Barrister Madhusudan Das. When I was a child my dad used to say a proverb in odia that Kalia Ghoda Re Chadhibi Madhu Babu Sange Ladhibi. In my childhood I used to question why someone needs to fight with Madhu Babu but later I understand the meaning of that proverb. Point is here meaning stand with a need that we need a person like him for our society and due he is dead so we have only his name. So here need is a person who can do the same what he did for people or more than that else no battle between names and here if he loses he will be glad and tension free that finally his replacement is here. Now coming to the point at that time advocacy or law practice is quite the most dignified jobs like ICSs which later named as IAS after independence. They take fees for the service because they need to fight with the British in the manner of intellectual and smartness. But is it required now because now no Britishers are here. We need to show our intellectual and smartness to maintain order instead of gaining benefits. So now things demand a change because everybody can't afford the older customs because of lack of resources. So why can't the government fill this gap with organised orders like there should be a monthly salary for advocates like now we have for judges. So that people just take their problems to the government and the government will alot an advocate as to handle things on behalf of the person. Then that will not create a race for money or livelihood then it will be a fight for law like who actually saves law more times. Means it helps to create a healthy eco system which can be independent from money or benefits influence. I am not sure how much I am correct but I believe it will be different from traditional.
